Here to Help Make Your Job Easier

The Big Sky Care Connect HIE Network ensures providers have everything they need to provide quality care.

Access to the right information at the right time empowers providers to give informed, comprehensive care to their patients. Unfortunately, providers experience fragmented health information due to a lack of integration between disparate electronic health record (EHR) systems. The BSCC HIE allows for the secure electronic sharing of health information streamlining communication between providers, payors, and patients.

BSCC collects data from disparate EHRs storing, managing, and normalize the data so all Montana providers have secure, quick and easy access to a longitudinal patient record. Available patient information includes vital clinical data from participating facilities such as discharge summaries, medication list, allergies, problem list, radiology reports, lab results, etc.

Benefits of participating in the BSCC HIE network include:

• Real-time access to longitudinal health records

• Improve care coordination + close care gaps

• Streamline administrative tasks

• Enhance emergency response

• Support during natural disasters/emergencies

• Medication reconciliation tool
